Brief

Rachel Paz, of the Unfinishing School, (friend, client, colleague, mentor, coach) reached out to me about a book she was writing. She wanted to collaborate with me on a book cover for her creation. I was a full body yes to that!

At its core, Magic, Magic, Money is an account of the year+ Rachel spent experiencing what exactly happened when she followed her gut and embraced that she was always in the right place at the right time.

It was important that the book cover match Rachel’s vision, the richness  of her experience as she lived into the book and her experiment and have all the right textures and feelings of magic. Rachel is a true collaborator and I felt like the medium through which her vision came to life. I applied a similar process, where I trusted my gut and included “out there” choices as we worked trough versions. Frequently, it was the unexpected inclusions that were the things we carried forward.

I had a blast and we created a book cover we are both proud of!
