Wine O’ Clock?
A SERIES OF EVENT MENUS SPANNING SIX YEARS

The Story

I’ve been lucky enough to work on menus for the Bacchus Society of Philadelphia since 2013. These projects are always a fun combination of setting the right mood for the dinner or event and conveying the food (and more importantly!) wine pairings in a stylish and readable format. The Bacchus Society is a private club for wine collectors and aficionados. They do not have a formal logo, as such, so I’ve tried to create a consistent visual presence by repeating specific fonts, layouts and graphic styles each year. At the same time, each design includes a nod (or two) to the hosting venue.
I’ve even been lucky enough to attend an event and sample the various vintages. I have mentioned that I am willing to accept wine as payment, but they have not taken me up on it so far.
